As a verb, to dish means to talk together informally — to chat, share, and connect.


That’s exactly what Virginia Community Dishes is all about. Each “Dish” platform is a place for the community to come together, talk about what’s going on, and share information about the local businesses that make the region thrive.


Our goal is to serve you up good, reliable information about what your community holds. These platforms are designed to be places to not only get information but also to give it — through comments, polls, and community contests.

Our first community platform, The Danville Dish, highlights the best of Danville and Pittsylvania County — from local dining and shopping, to service businesses and local events.
